Before applying
Not a formal one. HR reads your form, sends you the brief and asks about your availability in writing. If the employer wants a short call before confirming the roster, they arrange it with you directly.
Most people here do. The blocks are nominated by you, so the usual pattern is a few evenings or one weekend day fitted around something else that already fills the calendar.
For the first fortnight your work is checked before it goes anywhere, which is standard on all four briefs. Mistakes at that stage are expected and get corrected quietly rather than counted against you.
No. Everything runs in a browser through accounts the employer sets up. You are never asked to buy a licence, a subscription or a piece of equipment to start.
The rate sits in the brief and is confirmed by the employer in writing before your first block. It does not change based on how fast you work and there is nothing to pay in the other direction.
